Friday turned into a no-shave night for me, setting up a two day shave for tonight. One more go-around with Matthew and the Voskhod. It's Sheep Saturday so Port-Au-Prince is up with the Wolf to provide a super rich and slick lather off of the badger knot. Great lather, and three passes were as smooth as if it was only a one day shave. Maybe smoother. No complaints, blood, or other problems. Basically, I shaved like LSU played today. And my two day beard was Oklahoma - getting smacked around and defeated before it ever had a chance! I have to say I was a tad conflicted over that game today. I grew up an Oklahoma fan but am a solid SEC follower (Roll TIDE!). Anybody pulling against LSU right now should probably have their head examined anyway.

Best part of listening to the game today was hearing Coach O being interviewed. I swear he is "Farmer Fred" from The Waterboy. Whatever he is.....he's a hell of a coach, obviously.

The handle was among the first items I replated back when I was using nickel acetate in vinegar.

Good morning!

Very nice first outing with the Enoch. Easy to find the angle. Fair amount of blade feel. Three passes and I'm near perfectly smooth. One tiny spot of crimson under my lip after the second pass and a bit of warmth from the alum. I would call this a very good first shave with a new razor.

good morning gents,sunday shave..#22 aristocrat/platinum was the razor of choice,the razorock 400 synthetic built a wonderful le pere lucien apricot lather,bbs in 2+ fine passes.whiskey woods sealed the deal.awesome.never know what aftershave to pair with this soap,but this worked ok..this brit aristocrat is the mildest of them,similar to a rocket hd.watching some funny vids from charles roberts..yeah right..have a fine sunday everyone..
