Those Flics (I have two) are exceptional shavers! The last one I picked up cost me under $25, They’re not abundantly available . I found the Tennis brand to be very similar, again not readily available.

Inspired by one of @Jayaruh ’s recent shaves, I was thinking of reaching for my Paketa. Instead, I saw this 1970s Russian Utro that I hadn’t used in forever. No image today, but it could be the same - same 2 Gold Monkeys finished on clear water on the finishers. Not a huge difference but you have to try. Soap was 3P lathered with a Simpsons 59, and a dab of ABC almond balm finished up really a very nice shave.
Frederick Reynolds “Extra Hollow Ground” Definitely not your more familiar heavier grind Sheffield razor... but very enjoyable. Enjoy your shave. Tom

Thanks! That cream is definitely a fine performer. Excellent slick lather for straight shaving. Awesome scent to boot!
