I dabbed the wet brush into the shave butter, then on my wet face, for each pass. While it doesn't produce a lot of lather, it was still enough. I can see this, or any type of shave butter, as being used to do detail work around facial hair. And for easy clean up on a razor, especially for those who use carts. I decided to try it using this razor, with the blade already having been used for a couple of shaves. It was pretty slick and produced a BBS shave in two passes with a little touch up.
