    Love the look of those King dupes! A very neat looking razor for sure. Easy on the Drakkar, Andrew, or you will need to bypass the Minivan and go straight to an 11 seater...:).

    Your Zenith knot frankly looks better than mine, Clint. Mine was yanked from a plastic handle, though, and not a nice one like yours.
    The Enoch is a very nice looking AC. I will be following along with yours and Jim’s review this week. I looked up the Occam’s razors after Jim surprised me with the DE. Some very neat designs for sure. Ironically, Classic Shaving (they make them, don’t they?) is located in Sandpoint Idaho, which is actually only about 2 hours drive south of here. Road trip!

    thank you Jason..i like the colonial silversmith ,to be honest i am just going to enjoy my gillettes for a while.took over 3 years to acquire them and i could shave with a different razor for over a month .happy with what i have.at the end of the day a comfy bbs is the goal and i achieve that with some rare historical razors..win win..

    Prep: Cold water and PAA Cube pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Personna Ultra Chrome
    Razor: Schick E2
    Brush: Stirling Kong
    Soap: Oleo New City
    Post: Witch hazel, Oleo New City aftershave

    It's been busy the past week and I've checked in occasionally. Been shaving but haven't had time for photos and posts. This morning's shave went quite well. Had not used the E2 in over a year as it has been my worst 'meat-grinder' razor. It bites easily. But zero pressure and two passes resulted in a fine shave today. No bites or weepers or anything negative; just smooth shaving.

    I'm shaving off schedule right now due to the holidays, but starting today and through January I am going to use all of my soaps and then choose one to focus on and finish off.

    It's December 30th, and that means that the new thread for next month should be up and running tonight. SHOULD is the operative word there. Due to the fact that this is the end of the year, I will not be posting the January 2020 thread until tomorrow around noon, CST. This means that a few of you will just have to wait, tap your feet, scream at the screen or do whatever you need to pass the time. Sorry about that. For our usual first shave from Seoul, South Korea, @Keithmax will not be able to post until 3 a.m. local time there on the 1st. That is, if my world clock is working correctly.

    Sorry for the change in routine but mostly I just want to create some havoc. Ok, ok, so it's just because it's a bit longer of an intro than usual. I'll admit it. At least I haven't had writer's block yet.

    You may now return to your normal activities.
