But progress ... oh progress!
Now we do know the Whining Twenties are about to start and forewarned is forearmed!

I had no desire to shave again for the follies of this evening, so I chose a reliable gear that, in fact, did not betray me.

Proraso White Tub today. 20 seconds to load the Plisson #12 European White Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Schick Plus Platinum still in the vintage Gillette 40’s Style Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Executive Man aftershave.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #30 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick Repeating Type C razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
