Under $300. And I struggled to spend that much, I'm guessing 2020 will be under $150. Probably the only thing I "need" is witch hazel.
$10 on blades ($5 was to round out my Amazon cart to get free shipping, which saved me $13, so I really count it as a savings and not an expenditure). A hair under $20 on a cased Black Beauty. $0 on soap/aftershave. I am stocked up for years. Got one soap as a gift but it weren't my money, so... Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
I am saving money. HAHAHA!!! Well, I spent more than $100 but less than $1000. I think. I don't want to look too closely.
I bought a toy razor and two bottles of aftershave this last year. Not sure if the aftershave counts... I haven't opened them yet.
I spent about $225 this year; 4 razors, couple of soaps and aftershave. If I factor in the 10 or so razors I’ve sold off, I’m in negative territory for the year.
I wouldn't count that as a shaving expense. So your only expense in 2019 was the aftershave. I asked because I've seen a few people refer to some cheap razors as "toys", and sought clarification.
I spent over 1000 dollars and then some. Lol! I just started with a few razors at the end of 2018 with 2 pucks of soap and 2 brushes. Now, I have 13 straights, 7 DE safeties, two shavettes, 6 brushes and just under 20 pucks of soaps.
2019 is history now! All debts paid off for it. I'm deep into 2020, and it's still January. And counting.... tp
Spent under $10 for a beater Super Speed I restored, and around $10 for a Fatboy I then resold at a profit. I just spent $30 this year on three excellent single edge razors and don't expect I'll buy anything else this year. Probably.
