Pam I really like the falcon pics on your FB page. Do you raise those?

Yeah... I was thinking the same thing. I might take daughter and dog out on a long walk here after lunch.

Yeah I can see why you gave up. Hopeless case there Micah. Perhaps you should stick to photoshop and pirate films.

Just curious, do you shape obelisks out of mash potatoes?

Seriously, although I don't have an aeropress, I can see me doing the same thing now that you have planted the seed.

You could always go the cheap Chinese knock-off route... it's pretty much the same, just has more Engrish:

"I am to hopping for the excellent, but I am to be expectfully of the sausage."

sol92258 I have no earthly idea

no, but I did used to be obsessed with making the same mountain over and over again with my mashed potatoes...and dirt...and drawings...

I don't think that's facial hair, Justin. I think that might be coffee seeping out of your pores.

I wanna be the green one!

Seriously though - hope the visit to the doctor goes well, JoAnna.

    Can I buy?

that's a really cool post, both the original and then your follow up.

Nice. Off-the-cuff eh? I'd hate to see you "on-the-cuff."

Thank you. It's a topic that's very near and dear to my heart, and a source of much personal frustration. What's the worst is when I find myself bending to the examples provided on television. Like Jim said, life imitating art, it's a shaky bridge we walk on, this rope between birth and death.

Howdy, all. Funny, by the time I catch up on the posts here since my last visit, my 'good morning' becomes 'good afternoon.'

    To follow up...

40 to 50 pound pulls at 26" is what I shoot for (insert pun comment here). And I did finally make a successful string for this latest bow. The pull is around #55, so I increased the number of strands to compensate the strings I normally make for bows of less poundage and *bam!* I've got a winner... so far.

    And Justin:

My wikiup is still standing, although it needs to be recovered. The last few months of storms reeked havoc upon the loose coverings, so I've stripped it down. Micah and I are going to get together in the coming weeks to put it back together and test of the 'sweat lodge' portion of the show. Although with this heat, I'm not sure we'll need the fire rocks and such.
