    How do you like your Occam's DE? Do you have more plates? If so, can you feel a difference between plates?

    I just got it late last month, so I hesitate to give a full review yet. I have all 3 plates and both top caps, but I have not used the ridged top cap yet. To answer your question, yes, there are definitely differences between the base plates. The solid bar one is considerably milder and resembles an EJ or Muhle head. The two scalloped plates feel considerably more aggressive, but neither are overly so. I shaved today with the full scalloped plate for the first time and it was very good- efficient, but not unsmooth. A very good start with this razor, and with this plate specifically.

    @jtspartan
    Thanks. Just trying to verify if I'm the only one who can't tell the difference. I've used all the various combinations of the razor with both top caps and all the plates, and I just couldn't tell the difference.

    The Friday Action:
    Finishing up with a "now rare" 3rd shave in a row with:

    prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(Maximum Moisture)in shower
    shave-P.A.A. Boomtown Bay Rum* soap
    brush-Jayaruh #59
    razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE

    For those who don't know, it's CALLED Bay Rum, but it also has a nice mix of leather and gunpowder. He should have called it "John Wayne/Jack Palance".

    Yes, I created the label for the soap tub. Waterproof labels and printed by my color laser printer. This was back when I was in the creative-shaving kit phase.
