    The Dapper Doc smells very feminine to me as well. So much so that when my wife was looking for a natural deodorant, I ordered it for her. She is happy with the scent.

    Given that Boomtown Bay Rum was a no go (you really should try Atomic Age Bay Rum), I would recommend Cavendish of those scents. I have not tried Astra Planeta, so I can't comment on that one. I actually prefer Tombstone of those others, but there is a sulfuric note to it similar to Boomtown Bay Rum, and I wonder if that is turning you off on that particular scent. Atmotic is a great scent too, but I would rate it just below the other two on your list.

    I find Cavendish to be quite different than Haverford. Haverford has a chocolate and vanilla thing going on that I don't get from Cavendish. To me Haverford is a bit more cigar type tobacco and Cavendish is a bit more pipe tobacco. I like them both, and I think they each occupy a unique spot in my den.

    Paul, everything I have ever read about Home on the Range is that it smells basically like Hoppe's 9 gun cleaner. In fact, it was originally just called 9 or something and looked very similar to the Hoppe's logo, so my guess is they had to change the label which caused a name change. If you enjoy the smell of cleaning guns and want to wear that smell all day, then this is the scent for you.
