Thanks, Jim! Tomorrow is back to my AS-D2, too many razors and not enough time!

Joe, when I started my journey it was with the Van Der Hagen Deluxe brush and soap set with the Dorco three blade cartridge. Often times people turn to "wet shaving" because they experience discomfort and irritation with their current shave routine. Along the way they learn a thing or two about technique and then sometime in the distant future they try the razor that brought them discomfort in the beginning and realize that it wasn't the razors fault but really the total lack of technique when using it. I own a few cartridge razors and still break them out a few times a year and get excellent results with them, now that I have some solid technique guiding my hand. Stick with it and your shaves will keep getting better. And when you're ready to give the DE's another shot, well be here to help you then too!

Love the Gibbs, Jeff! Great shave and picture!
I feel the same way yet I don't see myself not adding more to the rotation.

    Hello everyone, and good, noon?
Well the big kids are at work, the little ones laying down for nap time.
Me, I got my focus razor a Neo-Ras slant.
Loaded with a new Feather blade and some nice Stirling Orange Chill to make some nice lather and scent.
Ok, the razor is giving me trouble riding the cap. Some weepers on the neck, need to be able to tilt the head better, but the head doesn't allow that the way I've trained myself to do it. The head shave was good, a clean and smooth 2 pass. The face went right too, 2 passes I'm good to go. The neck, it's giving me trouble, to be expected, always the trouble place. If I can hold the razor correctly while riding the cap, it will go as it should.
I also noticed I need to NOT look at the razor head, that will make me straighten the head out like a normal razor. I need to either watch the handle, or look away to keep the razor head traveling slanted, as designed.
Maybe that's why the head shave is better, can't see most areas I shave the gord.

The Stirling Orange Chill is nice, very nice!
    All
    Enjoy!

    Thanks Andrew!
This is a different razor, to say the least.
I could just set the head straight, then shave with it fine. I'm trying to use the 45 deg angle as designed, this proves to be a challenge, to me anyways.
Till then, well I'll just keep a new Feather blade in it each time, continue the next day.

Thanks Perry! Manic Monday's will begin in the middle of April. My wife is doing well, much better then the first trimester. It seems like her most common complaint right now is joint and back pain as he ligaments loosen up and the baby is getting bigger (noticeably).
