Hay Y'all! Hope everyone is enjoying any new gear gifted or purchased in the last month. I've not been watching but I suspect there's a a bit of it around. Probably a few fresh faces being cared for in the thread, too? If I missed any "I just joined TSD/30DC" posts - glad you jumped in. This Crew takes care of business when it comes to educating folks. Be it any facet of stubble removal, BBQ, or a hundred other ways of being a Modern kind if guy.

I'm still shaving both face and head and putting to use all the right Techniques for an error free, DFS or better, whenever I feel like it shave. I haven't purchased any new gear which I partially credit to an absence of Enablers in my daily internet viewing. Already y'all are 1000+ post off and running so I'll never catch up. Feel free to tag me if ya need me!

Thanks, gentlemen, for the kind words. The water here is quite soft, so I'm enjoying some terrific lathers. This was actually my fourth shave with the Weber loaded with a Voskhod, my awesome (Canadian-manufactured) 30 DC LE brush, and Stirling BOS soap.

Today was the official Mardi Gras kickoff celebration. It was sunny and in the 60s, so we walked the streets of old downtown Pensacola. We couldn't remember where we parked the car, but it had nothing to do with Mardi Gras. Honest!

We also did some shopping and had an early dinner. The Marshall's store had a few shaving supplies, including a handful of Muhle R89's for $20 each. Nothing I couldn't live without, anyway. It just so happened that tonight was prime rib and pasta night at "our" mom & pop Italian place. We were lucky, I suppose, that we chose to eat there just as the first slices of prime rib were being served. I still can't figure out how this happened. ;) We brought home enough leftover prime rib for the next couple of nights.

I hope you all had a fantastic Saturday!

Hey Jim! I fell out of The Crew for December of '19. Got busy during Thanksgiving and behind in the thread. Never could catch up so like a non rolling stone I'm gathering moss. Still doing well, but having folks underfoot keeps taking up my ME time.
That's right Bill. My oldest son has my new grandson I've yet to meet. I'd hoped to be there before his birth but in a effort to keep everything from happening all at once, I haven't traveled yet. Mom spent some time in the hospital, followed by a facility doing a bit of rehab. Nearing her 80th B-day so healing happens slow. I also think she enjoyed the mini-vacation away from dad, the house, etc. She now home and doing well. Dad weathered her absence well, but is glad to have her back home. In a short period of time I'm going to be waving "See Ya!" to my daughter and the three grandkids. They're headed back to Georgia with plans to set up a new household with daughters new BF. He's someone I've known for years and hope them all the best. So with my folks getting their business all straightened out, now I'm watching the wild fires happening in Australia's Summer. My planned trip may happen soon, and with the possibility of 14-28 days length. Got my passport refreshed and we're off peak season so flights are cheaper. I didn't get yo see the New Born, but I will hold me a baby!

Beautiful shave, Clint, and I'm glad you enjoyed a lazy Saturday morning with Mocha.

The Enoch sounds like a winner. How is the grip? The handle looks a bit slender. It's priced north of $100 with the discount code. How did you pick up yours so inexpensively? Asking for a friend. :)

Good to hear from you, Rick. Wishing the best for your mom.
I'm sure not having the grandkids around will take some getting used to. They're going to miss their grandpa.
