Great description of the shave soap scent, Cliff. I’m not a fan of the Feather Supers myself! Once I discovered the Schick Prolines, I've never gone back. They last longer, appear as sharp, and after an initial corking, never deliver the type of rough go you experienced with the first shave or two. Enjoy your Sunday!

Great shave, Adam! I envy you straight razor shavers, but it’s not to be for me! Too old and shaky! But I do keep myself occupied with my safety razors. Enjoy your Sunday!

As a relative newbie, I enjoy your posts, and for the most part find them quite instructive. When I first encountered the GE Jones Shake Sharp it was your old thread that clarified a lot of questions I had. Quality always beats quantity! Enjoy your Sunday!

That's actually the effect I was hoping it would have; for me, the pepper deepens Arkadia, and Arkadia is a favorite of mine. Admittedly, pepper is only a minor player in that scent, though.

    As it should.

The pepper is subtle, but it really enhances the lime, and is more long lasting. I love the scent.

    Razor: Cooper Monobilt
    Blade: Voskhod (2)
    Brush: Simpson X3 Best Badger
    PS: Stirling Menthollated Pre-Shave Soap
SS & AS: Stirling Executive Man

Very surprised by how efficient/aggressive the Cooper Monobilt is. I have to be careful with it for sure, but with light pressure and short buffing strokes I was able to get a 3 Pass DFS. Its very near BBS, but I decided not to push it before church.

I hope everyone has a nice relaxing Sunday. First full week back at normal life this week. Life is good so being back to a normal schedule is good too.

Thank you. When I started on the 30DC threads, I was only using DEs. My use of straights actually grew out of my leatherwork hobby, and not wanting to sell a strop I hadn't tested and knew worked correctly. Straights require more concentration, and punish inattention. Some of the injector and AC razors give just as good of a shave through.

Please Sir. As Master of Ceremonies for the Infamous Stoylin - Toynah Awoids. The proprietors and creators of that custom shave product fashioned to resemble Creed Himalaya might object to it being referred to as a dupe of a crummy grocery store soap.
