I had a feeling it was mistyped, but I thought it was going to be Mitar.

"Besides the blood, it was a great shave..." This is an unofficial mantra of the 30DC.

The Barbasol Floating Head is a very efficient razor, but it will punish inattention. Anything more than the lightest touch and it bites. I don't use it often, but I almost always cut myself with it the first day I use it.

Adam, Ow! That hurts even thinking about it! I’m not a straight or shavette user, and will never be one, but can understand how that could happen! My face doesn’t get numb with menthol, so I guess I’m lucky that way!

When Doc Pinaud created Clubman in 1830, his top concern was to make sure there would be no green porcupines developing from unclosed caps. Once the caps are screwed tightly onto the bottles-they become porcupine-free zones. And with that, may I say that like your bride I love Clubman very much. :D

Thanks, Joe! Riding the bar with no pressure is the secret to the AS-D2. My only issue is getting the angle right on the back of my head. Rheumatoid arthritis makes it a bit of a challenge. Looking forward to hearing how the Shake Sharp performs for you on your face shave. All the best, my friend! Enjoy your day!

Yeow. That would have confused me all right. Glad I took French only.

I posted my shave this morning! You didn't see it because I typed @jgreenep instead of @jgreenepa. I fixed the post. Lol! Its post # 1560 on p. 79.

Duly noted, Adam. Thank you. It has been added to my repertoire of hot button topics.

What about shoulder vs. ankle holster? I'll defer to @NCoxSTL on this one since he Ubers around the Lou and would have the most experience. (Since most of us have discovered the joys of brisket and BBQ, I figure nobody here would vote for waistband holsters. :happy102:)

Thank you, gentlemen, for the kind words!

Thank you, Tim, and I most certainly agree. Our meetings this morning were about 2.5 hours. Not too bad.

Joe, I have the same situation on my lower neck even after shaving ATG. Sometimes I live with the sandpaper, and other times I'll try some J-Hooking. You may find this video to be helpful. Stick with it, and you'll find something that works for you. Keep us posted.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

The most popular carry option in the Lou seems to be back of the pants. Or down the front, depending on how often it is used. Ankle holsters take too much time to draw, and in most of the altercations around here the person who shoots first wins.

I constantly use the Gillette Slide as shown in this video. Well, not with pain sticks but there's a reason for that. Pain sticks don't slide as much as they slice with that maneuver.

On second thought, I'll keep the pedal (and my head) down as I pass through the Lou with the Truckster. :scared007:

I should have posted Simon first, then Garfunkel...oh well, it's Monday and you guys are setting up my jokes out of order.

Thanks, Joe! Apparently, there aren’t very many who know how to properly leverage the high efficiency of this razor.
