  1. I gotta get some Xmas lites to take pictures with or something here.
  2. I've had two that came with no blade in them that I think got mangled from someone not being delicate when they removed the blade. I've never had one of my good ones rattle when I removed the blade.

    Nice looking straight there Pam!
  3. Cool! Photoshopping them down to size now...
  4. I prefer gimpping myself :)

    or Irfanviewing
  5. I saw an E series the other day where the spring was bent out of shape and wasn't putting pressure on the head. Until then, I didn't realize that you could swivel the spring clip to get in there and clean the head up well.

Somebody the other day either here or on B&B had some pics of a cool metal injector with an adjustment.... can't recall what that was, but would like to try one of them out.
  6. Those are the Hydro-magic ones,
they made them in the e and j types.

  8. Just for quick resizing for the forums I use Fotosizer.

Bong I hate to disagree, but the early E types could swivel on the spring stay. The Hydro's didn't come until the I type. I actually have a E type with the spring swivel in front of me now.
  9. First, the awesome single straight case that Pam made. I love this thing. My Wostie fits tight inside the felt-lined case. The outside is nice and soft:

    Next, as requested, Bong's Pen!!!!

Finally, a great case from a friend in Portland. I just need to find the Old style that would go inside:

  10. Very nice Tom and well done Pam.

Oh, I guess it was a PAL injectable adjustable that I was looking at. Any thoughts on those?

How about the new heavyweight Parker 65R?

If I give up on straights, I will have to get one of those.... But as I don't plan on doing that soon...
  11. That's a NICE pen, Bong!

If you get tired of that box, Tom, I have an old that would look good in that. :D
  12. I got a PAL in the mail today. Don't know what kind it is, though. It will be for sale.
  13. I'm sending all my stuff to Tom to take pictures of for me.
  14. Thanks Pam, looks like Tom polished it up nice and purdy.

Where did you get the leather for the razor sleeve? And how did you sew it??
  15. Nice looking case Tom, great job Pam!

Pal adjustable? And you say it swiveled? Never seen that. I received one that was destroyed my a pair of pliers on the adjustment dial that I tossed, and replaced it with one that has never been used, so I still don't' know how they shave. I have shaved with a non adjusting Pal injector and it did shaved a lot like an E or G type.
  16. Hiya JoAnna, how's stuff?
  17. Tom that scroll work looks like some of the work I have seen on the American Button Company Styled Gillette Old Styles. I am not sure they came in those cases, but it would be a close match.. will keep looking. swiped this pic from someone's FS across the street..

    ahh found it..

Empire model by American Button Company (which made fancier razors for Gillette)
  18. Tom did that to my pen too!
  19. Hi.

Ehhh.......my neck hurts. Been asleep on the couch for a few hours, no pillow. :(

    How are you?
  20. Sorry merged topics without hand signals...

The one I saw that had the damages spring clip was a E series Schick. I was trying to figure out what type was the stainless adjustable I saw was. It was the Pal injectable... Sorry for the confusion.
