You have a nice collection of gear, Jim! Are your razors stored in a separate warehouse? ;)

    Let's see rough estimate:
    SE Razors (disposable blades): 13
    SE Razors (Wedge Blades): 3
    DE Razors: 17
    Shave Ready Straights: 80ish
    Non-Shave Ready Straights: 20ish

When I put the list down like that, it seems like I have a problem.

I found some pictures on my phone. These are the ones in storage, not the ones on the workbench or in the bathroom. BTW, old storage cabinets for flatware make awesome storage pieces.

You know, Adam, I am starting wonder if there is some sort of effort going on here to shame us for our glorious collections.

A couple of classics tossed in that Safety Razor drawer! A Floating Head on top of a MonoBilt? Awesome! A 'Delta Echoed' Fatboy on top of a...Cobra? Is that a Cobra? Let me know if you ever decide to part with that Cobra...

That's actually a Pantheon modern adjustable. Its a pretty solid razor. I wish I had a cobra, but I haven't found one in the wild yet.

Here is my razor drawer. I have a few not in there, and none of my straights are in the drawer (too easy for little hands to get them).

A very cool looking razor and the matching brush to boot.

Still synthetics, mostly I finish with a Shapton glass 16k but sometimes with Gokuymo 20k. I find the edges a tough sharper off the Shapton. I then strop with CrOx and FeO3. I have been testing diamond pastes to 100 and 200k. I know do a couple passes on the FeO3 stop, then 20 linen and the 80+ on leather. This seems to be delivering smooth and very sharp edges. I find I can get smooth edges from synthetic stones so why fight with naturals?

Your only vice??? We saw the pics of your rolling stock.

Same here, Jason. My Bride is very supportive of my hobby as well. She's met quite a few members of the 30DC at the last two meetups. Except for one or two of the wingnuts, she considers them friends also. ;) She likes seeing the photos in the thread (especially the family photos) and hearing how everyone is doing. If I don't give her periodic reports, she'll ask me about 30DC members.

I've had my sights on Creed Aventus, and she encouraged me today to get it. She's never discouraged any of my shave-related purchases. I'm still not sure I want to invest that much dough in a single bottle of cologne (I could get another watch instead :)), but I did get the green light from The Boss.

I showed her Jim's and Jim's shave cabinets, and she was complimentary of the organization. As long as I keep my stuff neat and organized, she's OK with it. I'm starting to feel like an extreme minimalist compared to you guys. I need to take a more recent photo, as I've added a few odds and ends since this past summer.
