It’s -16 Celsius outside right now and sunny but it feels like -28 Celsius so I opted for a non mentholated setup for today. The Roseline soap has the nicest rosy scent I ever smelled - it’s not quite the same as the Williams stick, although both scents are very similar. This soap provides plenty of rich, slick, protective lather with good blade glide and soothing skincare. The Fino balm is so moisturizing as well as gentle and the Booster Mosswood aftershave smells so nice - it’s a Canadian barbershop classic that’s been around for a very long time. Three passes cleaned me up and left me BBS!

I am used to Razorock synthetic brushes, so this ER felt very small. The knot barely held enough lather for two passes. I see a new knot in its future. I really like the clear handles.

 

Great shave Jeff.....but you must be softer in your oldER age.I remember the day when you would have rinsed in Liquid Nitrogen!

SOTD Thur-Jan-09-2020, thought I would use this Proraso Tin Packaging I recieved for a Christmas present as a back drop when using my Proraso. They sure know how to Package their products and that might be one of the reasons they have been so successful other than great products


Razor : Oneblade Core version 2 - Mfg 2019
Blade : Gem SS PTFE modified (6)
Soap: Proraso Red
Brush : Yaki Tuxedo knot 24mm with black marble handle.
Preshave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + Proraso green preshave cream.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 3
Post shave : Proraso red with witch Hazel + Proraso green balm
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=
