  1. yeah, but does it blend!?!?!?
    :happy097
yep, but unfortunately, I shall be heading out shortly, so you better hurry it up!
    (better not be a rickroll...:eek::happy102)
  2. no but it... slices, dices, chops, broils, juliannes, fixes french fries four different ways and boy, can it catch fish!

    thank you Ron Popeil.
  3. :rofl:rofl
  4. no rickroll. I thought it best to avoid alienating those who so graciously have made all my other advice posts *sticky*. Be looking for it. It'll be my next post.
  5. yeah, I agree...don't know what kind of monster would even **jokingly** suggest such a PITA.....:happy097
  6. and it's just 19.95!
  7. GROOVY!!!

alrighty then...catch ya'll on the flip syde!
  8. I gotta head out too. You guys keep it cool around here, okay.
  9. nice advice there Micah... So ummm.. yeah, just cut myself restoring a razor.

But not with the razor.. Got a wicked papercut across middle finger with a sheet of 2000 grit wet/dry. :happy102
  10. DOH!!!!
    :shocked003
  11. That hurts!! I think supportive care is called for. Beer works well.
  12. I just ran into the same problem with my Boker Edelweiss while trying to do a touch up on my Chinese 12K... maybe I didn't lap it well enough?

For honemeisters - I've used Glen, I've used Joed... I'd recommend them both.... Joed's been a big help to me outside of the forums via emails...
  13. Well I have lapped the Swaty and have to make an X stroke to get the full blade length. I am guessing it is either technique or the Genco has the startings of a frown. Either way, it is off to the pro...

Eeeks... I am out of beer! Oh well, I have to go to a meeting in an hour, wouldn't want to do that anyway.
  14. I'm having hone/technique/stupid issues here too. :angry032
  15. Of course I get on after Micah and Jim leave.

How are the rest of you this fine evening?

I'm fantastic. A little fatigued, but great. We finished the bowyer's shed my dad and I started Monday morning. I'm looking forward to many hours of woodworking out there now. It's my 'man cave'. Every man needs a man cave to be complete, I believe. :happy088
  16. quiet around here. how is everyone? anyone?
  17. nobody here
  18. fair enough. so how's nobody doing?
  19. So what's your issues, Pam?

I may....may have figured mine out....when I put a piece of electrical tape on the blade, it only covered the middle 2/3 across the spine, leaving the tip and heel ends of the spine untaped.... I put on a new piece, gave it about 50 more laps, and that seems to maybe have fixed it...I'm hoping. I'll do a test shave in the morning...keep your fingers crossed!
