Very nice Tim! Hopefully you can work the pressure/angle to extend your GEM blade life.

Thanks, Blair. I think I may already have! Today I will hit shave 6 on a SS blade, and I typically haven't been able to get past 4 with the MMOC. The 30DC is really helping clean up my sloppy technique :D

I would say 6 shaves would be my max on a GEM blade. Probably more like 4 or 5. The MMOC is a beast of a razor. Light, light touch and keep the cap basically against your face. I need to use mine soon.

    Good morning

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum and no blood letting.

Late report this morning. Today's software arrived yesterday, pulled from the mailbox after sunset. I wanted to wait for better light for my picture.

The scent off the puck and when lathered is very subtle to my nose. The aftershave kicks it up to the usual PAA level. Lovely, lovely scent. I'm happily enabled.

    Have a great day!

Two passes for a close comfortable and irritation free shave this morning. The larger Mistura brush is breaking in nicely. The partial puck of Electric Sheep I started working through for No Variation November will not last the month.

    Enjoy your day.

My first shave in 2020. I took a break from shaving for a bit, last shaved Christmas eve. Needed to use a good OC to knock down 2+ weeks of growth and picked my Leresche #54.

    Bowl/Scuttle - GP12
    Soap - Le Pere Lucien
Brush - Alpha Outlaw Titanium v2 Fanchurian
Blade - Feather HI SS (5)
    Razor - Leresche #54
Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Stirling Mountain Man A/S

    Shave rating 5 of 5

Happy New Year, best of luck and health in 2020 and great shaves everyone.

Thanks for the input. I was starting to get that feeling that I might be pushing the blade's longevity a bit yesterday, but couldn't quite tell because I was rushing things. That light touch has helped immensely with the MMOC (I'm still a naturally heavy-handed shaver, and I have to fight that battle one day at a time).
