I'm in the market for a new badger brush. I want something a bit softer than my 2 band finest (also from stirling). I got one of the 24x57mm HMW It is softer, denser, more splayed out than the Stirling Badger Fan that I have. I like it and am happy with my purchase. For me it is a luxury brush. I have one Simpson Super Badger that tops the feel. But, smaller and 2x cost. It is a sizable brush that completely fills one of their 3oz tubs, so I grab a smaller brush for them. It can be a bit of a lather fuel hog, so don't plan on a soap savings. Good luck
