WOW, Jim. Seems ATL is going through some changes, and the surrounding school districts are reaping the benefits.

 

Hmmm.. I don't recall. is that the same district you left as well, Doug?

 

Bingo! The former district is attempting to 'get ahead of the curve', be 'cutting edge', and other various BS, much to the detriment of said district. rrr

You'll never catch me really bashing the district; I just feel that the direction that they are heading is not a place a district really wants to go. Oh, well.

 

usps tracking numbers

I ordered a non-shaving related item the other day and shipping came with an automatic tracking number.

has anyone else found these tracking numbers to be basically useless? the website told me they shipped the item two days ago, but the usps site will not confirm or deny that the item is en route- only that it was scheduled to be picked up two days ago.

For most post sent through USPS unless it is one of their higher priced shipping methods the tracking information is mainly just a delivery confirmation.

 

That is often the case. Sometimes I get updates, sometimes I don't. My guess is the packages run down a conveyor belt with a scanner. Those that happen to be facing the right direction to get scanned properly get updates, those that don't, don't.

The USPS tracker is just for delivery confirmation. They are only guaranteed to get scanned when delivered. So they may say absolutely nothing until it is already at your door.

i am a little disgusted with a couple of the fellas that got PIFs from me..checked their posts and nothing since the PIF....tsk tsk

 

Yeup, been there, done that, I'm less inclined to PIF stuff away to complete newbs, they might not like it and just let it sit in their den.

If they show genuine interest(and at least try to contribute to the forums), and there is something specific they might want that I could spare, I'm more than happy to help enable others.

 

Coming to these forums to me with all of the enabling that goes on is like a person on weigh watchers walking into a buffet. But it is so worth it every time I do. It's a shame that not everyone is that way.

did something different last night and shaved the left side of my face with right hand (dominate) and the right side with left hand. Much less irritation on my check that always turns red.

Sometimes the PIF thing feels like it wasn't worthwhile. And on other times, a PIF is quite worth it, eh Bong? Take the good with the bad and it all usually works out better in the end.

I haven't had good luck with PIF'ing. 3 of the guys I send pretty nice setups too, I never saw post again.
I setup a local guy with a ton of soap, cream, aftershave and soaps samples, and 3 months later he dumped all his gear.

Who got that superspeed when I PIF'ed it, I think that guy also went back to using a sensor???

I don't understand people sometimes. PIFing is a wonderful thing and to just get and go is so uncool!!
