Great report Joseph! Sorry the soap didn't work out for you. I almost bought a tub of C&E last year but read so many reviews about it being airy , I decided not to.

Super swanky shave, Gary! I'm on my computer right now instead of the phone, and that photo is amazing. Also, just noticed how stunning the case you are using is--very nice!

Your welcome, Jason! I will answer for Keith. The fool's pass is when you go ATG on the mustache area. , Generally, it's a stroke that starts at the the top of the lip and ends underneath the nose. So, you are going south to north. The straight razor needs to be sharp to perform that maneuver, otherwise, you really can cut yourself and that's why it is called the fool's pass. If you attempt to do this maneuver, then I would use both hands on the razor to steady it. Place one hand on the toe and the other on the heel. Do not move the razor, but move your face on the blade to do it safely. Eventually, as you gain more experience with the fool's pass, you can do it one handed by moving the razor and not the face. The fool's pass will give you a BBS on the moustache area, but the skin is very sensitive and the whiskers are very tough, so you really need light pressure, otherwise you will have cuts and irritation.

    Thanks Perry.

Thanks Clint. Raining and warm here now then turing into heavy snow tonight. Oh Canada!

Thanks Tim. Made 2 of those brushes. Took alot of time and patience for that detailed look but was worth it in the end .

Decisions decisions. I hear you there Paul. Wish sometimes I could just one of each.

Never hurts to follow....seriously. Participating on the other hand could hurt ( from a blade or angry better half...long story) , but you dont have to go to extremes. We have lots of categories for everyone if you check out the thread you can see.

Thanks Clint . The brush was worth the sweat equity I put into it just from all the great compliments about it.

Sounds like a great shave, Paul!

We have kind of opposite problems. I like cold water shaving (especially when using menthol), but when I installed a hot water circulating pump in our house so we wouldn't waste water (and time) while we waited for 3-5 minutes to get hot water to the shower, getting cold water from the bathroom sink takes longer now. Life has a terrific sense of humor :)

Stunning photo, Jim. Love how the light plays on the bottom of that brush handle, and it makes an already gorgeous razor look even... gorgeous-er? ;)

Stunning image Jim! Love it all, great razor and software. Purple matching brush AWESOME!

Cavendish, for those following scent profiles....Tobacco, Cherry wood, Vanilla bean. Very similar to Stirling's Haverford, just slightly darker/woodsy from the cherry wood.

Ow. Not as much fun when weepers happen. Great report, shave and image otherwise Joseph!

Really good razor! How is that Hiram working out? Looks kind of like a classic cobra handle homage with an Occam’s Nano head.

Thanks for answering Joe. Right now I'm sporting a stash so I wont be doing the upper lip for awhile. But when the day comes , I'll know what to do.

Sorry about the mishaps, Joseph! I really like the Fine Lavender Pour Homme AS, myself. Really glad to hear things worked out for your daughter.

Oh, that Axe. I'm transported back to coaching High School soccer and the Axe-cloud that inevitably awaited me on the bus... *goes to brush his teeth because he can, inexplicably, taste Axe now*
