Meta Nectar this morning, which is a middle eastern influenced scent. Orange blossom, honey, and vanilla dominate this one. On the dry down there is a patchouli base that adds a little earthiness to it. It is a lovely scent and very different from most of my other scents. This is one I always enjoy when I use it. Grind.....Judgement call....tough....Derek never put that info in an email or text. Based on the chart above, I'm going to call it a wedge, or near wedge (halfway between wedge to a quarter hollow). The blade spine is so thick, and there's a slight concave, but not as much as shown in the quarter hollow. Zero blade flex. The hone of the cutting edge is so wide, I can feel the flat of that edge versus the flat of the blade as I change angle.

 

Oh, my. That is awesome looking!

Less than 4 hours...it's gone everywhere sun hits, and most places even in the shade.

Very nice addition to your den, Clint. Thanks for the comparision between the OREN, Hiram, and the Enoch. Of the three, it sounds like the Enoch would be the one to get. Hope your weekend is restful. We're getting some wind and rain down in our neck of the woods. It's perfect weather for watching games on ESPN.

Nice SR shave, Evan! You are a 2 passer and that's awesome! Some straight shavers do 3 to 4 passes. The number of passes that are necessary is determined by beard density, beard growth, blade sharpness, shave quality (SAS, DFS, or BBS), and the shaver's technique.

Thank you Charlie. I would rank the three in this order. The Enoch, Hiram and OREN. I will likely move the OREN and the Brass General out of the den leaving me with the Cobra Classic, Enoch and Hiram for my artist club razors.

Love the view of the beach Charlie. There is something peaceful in a drizzling FL rain. There are some days, I really miss the Sunshine State.
