It is an interesting razor to use for shaving, Terry!

Nice photo, Keith! Andrew @Linuxguile has said that Stirling doesn’t do well for him in a hot scuttle.

Very interesting razor, Terry! Looks like a Mayhem object.

The feature product for my shave this morning was the Stoylin 24x51 Synthetic. My first go with it. Did a nice job. One cut(left side of the neck). I think I've used the Razorock Lime Burst puck about 15 times so far, and it STILL looks like a pancake! But it delivers a wonderful shave-good spreading power off the brush. This was my first time using it with my glasses on-I got to thinking, "Man that puck looks huge!" I guess I began wearing glasses while shaving sometime in early fall. Back to the shave itself....2 passes, nice cool feel of the Lime, followed, of course, by the Skin Bracer. But the coolness is much needed today-this summer day in January here in Metrowest Boston. I felt bad for doing the Soap Exchange/Agadir just once in this round, so I put it back up in the Upper Den for the next set of 3. All set to face the day.

Barbershop was my first Stoylin soap. I had Clubman, thus that was a good match for the Stoylin.

Cool shave, Paul! The weather was very nice in our neck of the woods. Don't worry, we still have 69 days until the first day of spring before winter has a chance to do its worst.

Today's main focus was to get a great lather from the C&E.
Side note: my very first shave with this soap was an unequivocal success,
so it is with great consternation that I find myself struggling to repeat that result.
Readers will recall that yesterday, my bowl lather/CH3 Badger lather was quite airy and
did the disappearing routine on my face. Not as badly as some soaps,
    but a mos def©
    "thinning out".
Today, I went back to the boar, with the intent of picking up more product.
I still bowl-lathered and even adding a ridiculous amount of water,
I once again ended up with an all-too-airy lather.
Now, as a former chef, there can be no argument that bowl-lathering, as opposed to
face-lathering, will incorporate much more air into the soap.
And while whipping cream, with it's 40% fat content, can handle the air,
    shave soap simply cannot.
So, abandoning this bowl full of airy fluff, I went back to the puck and re-loaded.
This time I moved directly to the face and that made all the difference in the world.
Nice, slick, dense, but---not dry lather made an excellent base for my shave.
The rest was uneventful and the Feather/Polsilver (brown tuck) made quick work of my stubble.
Finished with the Stirling ASB and some lovely spritzes of the Yardley.

Joe, chemistrically speaking, I think the world may be down to just two weather seasons in times ahead-summer and winter. Thanks for the shave compliment...usually I don't bring out Skin Bracer until late spring/summer. Same with the Razorock Lime Burst.

    Good morning

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Just the faintest tickle from the alum. Easy shave.

Despined and punched Gem worked perfectly in the OneBlade. I started off applying enough pressure to flex the head on the razor. I gave up on that after just a couple of strokes. I used it like a fixed head, finding and maintaining the angle on my own. Very smooth and very easy.

    Have a great day!

Nice shave and rebound, Maestro! I didn't think that some soaps would perform better by facelathering than bowl lathering. I learned something new!

Jim, for part of this coming week, I'll be doing what you did today-Clubman A.S. with a barbershop soap(but not the Clubguy from PAA).

Wow. What a morning getting Maya off for the drive back to Lexington. A very quick shave this morning. Three passes with touch ups caught the baby with ease. Off to take my Mom to lunch. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

I cruise the Bay every time you show off your Feather DX, Bill. I bookmarked your seller. He doesn't have the black-handled kamisori style DX in stock right now.

I tried a pack of the Feather Guard blades when I first used my Feather AC SS shavette. I couldn't tell that they offered me much protection. My technique was so poor then that I would have sliced myself with the backside of a dull butter knife. I love using the Super Pros now.

Keith, you need no words. Your photos enable by themselves. Pure class, my friend.

Now that's a cool razor, Terry. I bet you get it dialed in soon.

Fantastic shave, Paul. Bring on the day! :)

Lovely shave, Joseph. Your write ups are entertaining and informative. I'd make a blind buy on any product based on your detailed and reliable descriptions.

Give your Daughter an extra hug from me today. :)

Beautiful shave and photo, Jim. I'm glad you're getting the OneBlade dialed in.
