Fantastic MITA shave, Terry. Great looking pic, and I like the simple effectiveness of the razor more and more as I look at it. Plus, as you say, there's no risk... just return it and get that dime back ;)

    Have a fantastic day, sir!

Excellent shave this morning. I hadn't used Grandpa's Barbershop in a while. 2 passes(and this was one of those shaves where I knew the second would be most needed). Clubman A.S. did me well,as usual. The finisher was a few dabs of Clubman Talc Powder(back and sides of neck, and forehead). I formally declare shave soaps from Central Texas Soaps to be used 3 straight days.(well, by me, I mean....you fellas do what you want, of course :).

Joe, for a moment your post was akin to an optical illusion....I couldn't see the "Nice shave Clint" thus it looked like a blank post..suddenly, there it was.

It was in invisible ink and then I irradiated it to show the message. Lol!

:). Yes, you said "Oh no, he's looking for it" and did the irradiation of the thing.

As you know(or MAY know)my pet name for MITA is "Meeter". Why. Because if you asked a Bostonian to pronounce the letters, he'd most likely say "Meeter", not "Meet-uh".

    I Coloniali~~Rubberset 400/3~~Dubl Duck Goldedge
On the recommendation of @Steve56 I picked up a bottle of this I Coloniali ASB.
At first, I was hesitant, because I wasn't sure it was going to pair well with the "Mango" soap.
Nowhere on the bottle is the word "Mango" mentioned, rather "Rhubarb".
Steve assured me it was true to the shave soap and he was correct.
The Rubberset loaded a goodly amount of soap and the resulting bowl-lathering
was a skosh more "airy" than I prefer, the slickness was there and the lather
remained quite stable. Tomorrow, I will go directly to the face.
It's always a pleasant surprise to get the subtile kick of menthol from this soap.
The DD received the usual stropping ritual and the edge proved to be very keen.
I have developed the ability to so some "buffing" with my straights and to do so
is a tribute to the soap.
DFS results again as I refuse to chase the baby with a straight.
The I Coloniali balm is extremely light; absorbs quickly, without a greasy feel.
The scent indeed is a great match for the shave soap.

IMG_4494.jpg A nice 3 pass shave this morning. Didn't chase it, didn't catch it, but still a very good result. Love the soap base and love this splash base. I know others haven't enjoyed these APShaveCo flattops, but I seem to have found the perfect depth on this one.
Went outside to shovel the inch or so we got last night ight after the shave and had instant 'Menthol Monday'. -13C right after shaving. Yup,
    Have a great day all!

@timabababaluka, There's a brand new Dovo Shavette on Etsy for $24 and it is the last one. That is a steal because they run about 34 dollars.
