    The Shake Sharp is a fine razor, Jeff! I mainly use mine for headshaves because it is difficult to cut yourself with it

    Thanks Jason! This head is actually sold by Yaqi in this configuration and was touted to be quite aggressive so I though I would give it a try. I doubt I'll try other swaps in the near future though. It's just easier to grab something that I know works.

    Thank you, Andrew! I have seen YouTube straight shavers have a voluminous but drier lather. They get great shaves. However, I prefer a wetter lather. It depends on the soap. Stirling can handle plenty of water without giving up performance

    Beautiful picture with a excellent report Andrew. My wife comments on how loud Gem razors sound. I bet she would really notice the Yaqi Beast Hybrid sounding off.

    Thank you Jason. I only have a couple of boar brushes so this Thater will be staying. I am seriously considering moving out the BSB-2 shave brush with a 2 band Vie Long Fan and the Wild West Brushworks 30mm Tuxedo. For now those have been moved out of my shave cabinet and I will see if I miss them.
