  1. I couldn't comment if you are only referring to head shaving but for face shaving I don't see in a difference in that respect from a Type E. Just the handle has a little more heft to it is all I notice.

  3. Heft, a bit longer, plus the balance point on the E is on the spring, on the F it's on the handle.

  4. The other stuff at least for me doesn't make a difference in how the razor shaves for me because of the way I hold razors but I will concede it can make a difference depending how you hold the razor.

Tried another stand up Shave today, not that good to be honest. Could be me rushing because of lack of stability standing injured foot .Also I am not too happy that I have the blade aligned properly, as I find that when loading a blade, they have a tendency to slip off what I think are very shallow retaining lugs. I shall see how I go on with one of my favourites on the next Shave.

    Cold Water Rinse
    Williams Mug Soap
    Jayaruh #380
    Ever-Ready 1914 Army
    GEM Stainless SE
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #380 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Ever-Ready 1914 Army razor with a GEM Stainless SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Blade I know is still good but the shave was only okay. I've gotten BBS shaves out of this razor before so only 1 of 2 or both are issues here. 1 is the blade itself being that it is a Proline and the BBS shaves I've gotten out of this razor are with a Personna or 2 it is the water. I've been using tap water as of late when before I used to use filtered water instead.

Tomorrow I will finish off this blade and use some distilled water to wet and rinse my face and razor to test the water being an issue then I'll do a fresh shave with a Personna and finally the Personna and distilled water to compare.
