    Its all about prep.
Wash your face before shaving to soften the hairs, use a shallow blade angle(riding the top cap) and use the slickest soap possible. Wash and dry blades after every use and you'll see a significant jump in their lifespan

We have been lucky so far Joe. Last year it came in October and left in April. And there was lots like back when I was a kid. I dont mind it just that when we get back to back snowstorms and large accumulations it makes winter seem way longer .

Yes . For awhile here we hardly had snow . Snowmobile sales plummeted bad I remember. Some guys had new machines sitting for 2 years .

    Good morning to everyone!!
What a nice Wednesday morning it is.
Got the Dime razor loaded with a new Personna GEM blade with the spline removed and some Razorock Black WTP. One thing I have forgotten to mention is if you use a Dime razor, the handle is loose when you put it on the head. When you dip it in the water the wood handle swells keeping the handle in place. It takes about 24 hours for the wood to dry so you can separate the two. Another elegant design of this tool. I like it more and more each time I use it.
A....nother 2 pass +clean up jead and face shave with, no issues. Yea!

Razorock WTP soap did it up nice, I'm clean, smooth and ready for the day.

    All
    Enjoy!

    Razor: OneBlade Hybrid
    Blade: Modified Gem PTFE (4)
    Brush: Omega Evo synthetic
    Pre-shave: PAA The Cube
    Soap: PAA Gondolier
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA unscented Star Jelly
    AS: PAA Gondolier

    Good morning

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Just the faintest tickle from the alum on my neck.

I tried adding just a bit more pressure this morning, still not enough to flex the head. The OneBlade felt even smoother. I didn't think I would like this razor as much as I do, maybe I didn't want to. It'll certainly be a regular in the rotation.

    Have a great day! [IMG]

I forgot to comment on the scent. Terrific! Gondolier will always have a place in my den.

Here's the scent profile from PAA:

Experience the classic, masculine, old world scent of Italy with every shave! Gondolier is a rich, balanced bouquet of Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, Oakmoss, Coumarin, Citronella, Juniper & Cedar.
