Another white whale Schick Injector.
Type E1


What is interesting about this razor is I can date this almost certainly to December of 1935 or January of 1936. Zain was a publishing group and they would for a couple of years until 1935 run a contest each year for people to submit ads for products. The best submissions would win prizes like that razor there. The last contest they ran was in 1935 with the last submissions in December then they would announce the winners in early January. That razor I know for sure was first introduced in December of 1935 as seen in this ad here.

That makes that razor in the first or no later than second production run of all Type E razors.

 

These are the shaving related portion of my "Haul" from an estate sale/auction yesterday.

I got what you see here plus an old glass with metal cap, CB saccharin bottle for $13.75 total.

The mugs seem to be in good to great shape and the brushes I hesitate to say since I don't feel I have enough experience with them to judge. However, if you have thought about that, let's hear your opinion.
