I didn’t like this Herder and the stainless steel blade when I first got it. But, in recent shaves I changed my mind and tonight it shaved like a champ.

Winter appears to be back and they have predicted snow, ice and rain for Friday. I'm not sure what to expect. I think they threw all three in because they really don't have a clue. Covered their butts on that one. Today was sunny but cold, so a nice hot shave was in order. Third day with the Red Tip and Ladas. Soap Commander and the small Omega boar for the lather and three passes was a breeze. BBS is the result and life is good. At least until we find out what we get weather-wise for tomorrow. The way it works around here I wouldn't be surprised to wake up to a snow hurricane with an ice tornado in the middle of it. That would be fun. Have a great Friday!! The weekend is nearly here!!!

Tabac Thursday January 16th SOTN

Well, I know I said I'd stay with the same kit as yesterday, but today is tabac Thursday... I'll come back to La Toja tomorrow . A wonderfully smooth shave tonight before bed and I smell great. SIX shaves and counting for this guard blade. Happy shaves all.

First use of the Above the Tie razor. I am impressed. Very efficient, but smooth. It's like a slightly less aggressive Blackland Blackbird. It's now one of my top 5 razors.
