While Clint and I have never met in person, we have conversed on the thread enough that I think I can make two basic statements about us:
    1. Clint and I both acknowledge that we have had long successful marriages to strong, wonderful women.
    2. We both have come to the realization that Clubman is just not for us.
I do believe that there is a strong correlation between points 1 and 2...:eatdrink047:
This comment is just low hanging fruit, waiting for a smart ass such as myself to pluck it from the branch...:happy096:
Given my experience with pouring it down the drain and how long it lasted in the pipes, it is also a useful tool for Plumbers. A multipurpose elixir for sure!

I've only posted it a few times, Andrew. It is in the Brushmakers Forum thread as well.
I haven't ordered anything from the new company, Patrick. My understanding is the same scent in a reworked base.
Thank you for the kind words, Gentlemen!

I knew it wouldn't take long after I set the bait . But every so often I do admit to indulging in a splash o' Clubman. Its reminiscent of my youth and all the old guys sitting in the barbershop. Some were obviously just there for conversation because even at that age I knew a toupee when I seen one .

Come back to that Deb...it may not be a face shaver, but it'll work I'm sure.
That brush matches perfectly, Jim. Congrats! Very unique sounding scent, as well.
Great connection to your grandfather, Jeff! The watch would look great with Stirling Deep Blue Sea as well...
TGIF! Hope your day went as well as that shave, Clint.
You should have brought The Sun Also Rises... Great gear, Joseph.
Safe travels, Jim. While you're in OKC, go down to the Thunder office and remind them they should still be in Seattle as the Sonics...:)
That FuzzTech is still amazing to look at. Congrats again to you (and Evan!).
Yup, too many good scents in this hobby. Move on from the Baker St, Tim. I had to do the same with Sharp Dressed Man. Haven't looked back at all. Very generous from Perry as well!
TGIF! What a cool looking cat... traffic looks bad, though. Great work with that Yaqi, Andrew.
Simply an amazing looking razor, Gary. I love the look of those Gillette early OC TTOs regardless, but that one is an exceptional model.
Congrats! Is that the same boar that Joseph speaks highly of?

New tubs and labels too. Gone is the moose and Maximo now has a dog in a top hat.

Thank you Jason. My day has gone pretty well. I am thinking about getting out of here a little early

I love the scent and have often thought about getting the splash. Two things have had me not pull the trigger- it doesn't appear to be available from one of my usual vendors where I would just add it onto an order and it isn't alcohol-based. I still might someday.

At least I did something productive today. My search for a bargain will never end . These are from the same factory as the Super max Platinum, which I really like . I'll post my thoughts in March when/if they arrive from India.

Yes it is the same one but with a matte finish. $27 and free shipping from Australia.

  20. jluc

    jluc smelling pretty

    Thanks, Jason!
Matching brush and razor is a whole other avenue to explore. No Repeat November had me matching blade packaging with the rest of the gear. That was a bit extreme, even for me. I kinda did it for the most part.
