no, I agree with you, you don't have to do anything wrong, just be accused and you're ruined, in the minds of many, anyway. but if there's truly evidence that you've violated a contractual rule, then tough luck buddy. there's no reason, none at all, for a person to earn a full paycheck for doing nothing, especially for months at a time. because you know they have to not only pay you, but your replacement. the real problem is, though, many teachers, who are going to complain? no students...no discipline problems...no lunch duties....no grading...no meetings...full paycheck....where's the motivation to not get suspended by your school for awhile?
What I don't get whenever this information comes to public light (this is the 3rd time I have seen such a story in the last two years)... yes millions of dollars are being wasted. Why can't they just hire a larger group to get these cases dealt with quickly. Yeah, I know different pocket of the budget and excess of funds in one area can't be used in a more important area. Stupid bureaucracies (and I am sure the union isn't helping) OK thats my last post on the subject before I get my keyboard slapped.
Howdy folks. I'm in and out tonight. Just stopping by to say hi before I head out the door. Hope you're all enjoying summer and shaves. :happy088
problem is, we've lost a shared definition for common sense. what's common for one person these days is oppression (and grounds for a lawsuit) for another. and that applies to both ends of all spectrums.
:happy102 he's here all week folks. made me think of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53DQgbj2mIc I can't find the original clip. this'll have to do until someone else finds it.
We barely hit 90 here. It was sunny, it was humid as all get out. 90 was bad enough. Thank goodness for the apartment pool. Too bad everyone else was there too.
No, YOU do the Hokey Pokey I'll take the chicken dance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UV3kRV46Zs Man, did Bobby get old or what?
This one's really for Micah, but you can all feel free to enjoy it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjOePNFRFRU
Yep, I miss it. I was introduce to it when my step-daughter was a young teen (she's 29 now). It was brilliant and subtle in the same way that the older WB cartoons were. I'll have to try to find a source for the series (maybe YouTube?). Should also watch who framed Roger Rabbit again one of these days. "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way."
