Thanks, Jeff. A good shave truly is the ticket ;)
Thanks, Joe. Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
    Thanks, Gary :D
I appreciate the kind words, Jim :)
It was touch-and-go there for a while, but the universe has a way of restoring balance to the world. ;)
    Thanks, Jim :)
As do I. I'm thinking about taking back the back-up/travel razors I gave my boys (they're only interested in their qshave Future knock-offs anyhow) to see if things have changed, but somehow I get the feeling the three I keep will all be vintage.
That's a shame. I quite enjoy the scent of Cool. Wonder why Floid decided to nix the Blue?
Thanks, Clint. As frustrating as I may get sometimes, The Missus prefers me when I have my Y chromosome--our home needs balance :D
I like the way you think, Patrick! Thanks again :D

I think they are improved from the past few years. They have a new coach. I don’t follow college basketball much but I’m well aware that Alabama beat Auburn earlier this week to give Auburn their first loss. Auburn lost again today to Florida and Alabama won again today. Basketball hasn’t been good in Tuscaloosa in quite a while so some resurgence is nice.

I purchased it, just haven’t received it yet. Apparently there’s a bit of a backlog.

Great minds think alike Tim. The universe always seems to pull us back to our senses . The estrogen ' force field' off that pen is comparable to kryptonite and Superman. Not your fault, you just had a brief moment of weakness but recovered successfully.

Very cool! Congrats! Smoothest razor in my collection. Very little blade feel but wipes away the whiskers. Anxious to hear your thoughts.

I've heard the same thing, Jim! I’ve got some pretty dang smooth razors, though! My two favorite DE’S are my Silversmith, it’s unbelievably smooth loaded with a feather as is my SS Lupo. I feel almost as if there’s no blade in either razor. A friend on B&B with the new H&S who also owns a Silversmith says the shave is comparable.

Max Headroom requires implements to be both upgradable AND expandable.

After thinking about the recent systems upgrade that enables blade tracking, it was time to commission the expansion unit. May I present 'The ShaveMobile II' next to the older brother.

If Colonial would put a shine on their razors I'd be all over it. I still may add one eventually.

    Proraso Shaving Foam - Red
    Rockwell 6s (6)
    Bolzano Super Inox (1)
    Proraso AS - Red

Traveling shave this evening. Cold water rinse, scrub a little foam in 30 hours of growth, rinse. Shake the can, squirt out golf ball size, and smear on the goodness. Awesome aroma, nice and thick foam. Proraso does canned foam right. Foamy lather, I’d almost call it ’flather’. Slick enough to straight shave with. Not on the agenda tonight though, brought the Rockwell 6s. Loaded up a Bolzano, put on plate 6. 3 easy passes for a DFS+. No nicks or anything to report. Love this setup!

Reading along while on the road for work, lots of great details, images, thoughts and gear!

Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!
