  1. Even better, Danny!
  2. Beautiful shave Neal.
  3. thank you Jim,not pretty but functional..
  4. Is that even possible?
  5. I've seen it done once. I believe it was Perry @PLAla . Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the parade.
  6. I got it about 3 years ago, if memory serves. Only used it occasionally so I knew I had quite a ways to go when I put it on the kill list. Pretty sure I still have a ways. All soaps seem to get tougher when that center hole opens up.
  7. I'll definitely let you know. :susel:
  8. Great set up Tim and I can honesty say that that is the first time I have every seen a shaving brush hanging from a ceiling but it works.
  9. Thanks, Danny :)
  10. Great shave report. Three cheers for the ring of death! ;)
  11. Sooo awesome. Love that silver platter, btw :D
  12. Thank you, Danny! It was a relaxing day! I am excited for tomorrow because I will be seeing my friends who came up to visit from Charlotte, NC. They moved down there over a year ago and haven't seen them since. Eventually, this NY boy will have to visit them. I have a married nephew who lives 30 min from my friends so I don't have any excuses. Hopefully, it may be this year, but most likely next year.
  13. thank you Tim.$5 at the local thrift shop.silver plated even.i don't think people use them much anymore..
  14. Bill, you do know that this is a quid pro quo?
  15. I wouldn't sweat that at all. When the cat's away, the mice will play, and just Dad time is meant to be a bit irresponsible. As long as they're still alive when your wife gets back, I'd call it a win :D

Wait! Did you say by the furnace...?
  16. Nice setup Tim! I talked to my uncle this week. He was sad because he left his Muhle R89 in a hotel room. It was his only DE razor... I was dumbfounded. He only had 1 razor. Who does that?
  17. Is that the guy who is good with numbers?
  18. Glad you got some rest and venture on down south of the Mason Dixon line......you will enjoy it.

  20. Hey, that's a pretty good idea. I don't use it after I shave, because the AS seems to work out just fine by itself. If not I follow up with a balm. When I wash my face, however, I usually just use peppermint castille soap in a foam dispenser. That Thayer's would probably make a good follow up :D
