Today seems to be a lucky day: fog and cold and at the market not only there were very few people, but I found some sour oranges, not the usual sweets that the mass seems to prefer, and from which I will make an excellent jam: good I kept some peach stones this summer!
    What more can I want?

Actually a lot of things, but senescence taught me not to be greedy: it can spoil the few pleasures that can cheer up a day.
Pleasures that can be identified in scents that surround you while you shave and that follow you like a fragrant trace ...

The blade really made the difference: other blades performed well but.. without certainty.
This one, instead, is a guarantee.
And this explains why they stopped production!

    "AMBRE" мыло для бритья жировое
    Jayaruh #380
    Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher
    Vintage GEM Cutlery
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The "AMBRE" Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #380 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor with a Vintage GEM Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Great shave my friend!

    I’ve heard of Scheermonnik - it’s a Dutch soap, isn’t it? :)

    Sunday morning:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Junjie/Derby day 7
    Gilly’s Lush Life SS
    Prep ASB
    Aqua Velva Sport AS Splash

I definitely have to change the blade because it’s gotten pretty dull from using it all week and it started tugging during my second and third passes. The Lush Life soap has such a nice scent, the lather exploded off my brush, and the menthol sensation, although not particularly intense still felt great. The Prep gave me fantastic postshave attention and soothed some irritation that I’d gotten. Finally, the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave went on nice and chilly. I really can’t complain about this shave because in spite of the blade I still ended up BBS!

    Have a great Sunday![IMG]

    Thank you.

No, it is not a Dutch soap: it's a very good Dutch soap with an excellent scent! ;)
On top of this, it comes in not too big bowls, so you can have a good rotation without getting it loosing fragrance!

This one is the scent i prefer, but also the other three ones i use are very pleasant...
