It's been a weird day I guess. I got a letter from the VA today saying that they raised my disability up. My wife is happy since that means that I'll be getting more in compensation but to me I feel like they just said I'm more broken. But I'll be getting some back pay from that and I can get me more stuff. :happy108 I figure that I'll grab Truckman's brushes that he has in the classifieds and my straight razor set. But I'm torn on if I want to get Florida Water or A/S from Joanne with Florida Water scent.

 

Heyyyy more stuff!!! I don't know what Florida Water smells like. Depends how much gator poop is in it I spose............

 

The goshawk that's visiting while her owner is away on vacation is pretty too. I'll try and get a picture in the daylight tomorrow.

Matt's brushes look great and a straight set sounds awesome. I'll leave the scent advice to JoAnna - the Goddess of all things that smell good.

 

anyone in here smelled Salter's mint SC? Is it a spearmint or a peppermint? Tom's of Maine is definately peppermint, but I'm not sure of the Salter's?????

 

I don't have the container, so i can't see if it's got peppermint oil in it or ????

 

I know there's menthol in it, found out the hard way

 

You know, those two letters could be an acronym for an almost infinite number of word pairs...

And yes, I must be way too sleepy. I still think you have good taste in what smells good and what doesn't. Don't think I ever told you, but I love the TSD signature scent. Do you sell much of that? To me, it smells a little like Bigelow Constant Comment Tea (orange and spice). I know there's some Bay Rum happening in there too. Awesome stuff...

 

I always say "Thank you for allowing me to have the privilege." But the upside of things is that my doctors are telling me that I'm improving. And I am starting to be able to do more, I've been doing yard work all week. The yard is starting to look really nice now but I still have a lot to do. I hope that means I'll have lees problems with a straight then. :bounce

 

Eric's description of the Sweetgrass scent made me decide I needed a sample of it. TSD signature is nice smelling. Has bergamont and bayrum for sure.

Ah, maybe that's why I like it so much - Earl Gray, hot (with a shot of Rum).
