I'm getting a great view of it out of my bedroom window, too. I think Mother Nature is apologizing for all the recent rain. It's really beautiful and very relaxing: a very welcome event after a hectic, stressful week.

 

Just a slow laptop. Got Xubuntu installed (dual boot with Win XP Pro) and running, just don't have any network yet. This laptop is pretty much just for getting quickly on the web when not at desktop...

 

I might ask the wife for you. She does Web/Graphic Design as well as doing a whole slew of other things. As for me I as creative as a hibernating bear.

And Joanna....my last purchase of the day. Socks 2

 

Also, I have to reply to your email, Tom. I just haven't had the time lately. I'll get to it eventually.

I know you said you have a full workbench for pens, but is it possible to request your services in tweaking one of mine?

The Salter's Mint definitely makes me think peppermint. I'll go check the label for the ingredients in a second.

 

I was thinking about the extra menthol shot, but having not tried it in its base form, I didn't want to overdo it.

as far as I can tell it recognizes the card.. it just can't sign in. No, I haven't tried the actual Ethernet jack. But that would require me digging out another cat 5 cable when everyone else is sleeping...

 

I'm recovering from the flaming thermometers kind of day we had again here. Haint has the right idea, lay on your back in front of the fan!

I have crayons we can use for the biz cards, but I don't think I can draw that dapper TSD gent. My stick people look like they have experienced horrible industrial accidents

 

Hmm. I had a problem once with Ubuntu and Kubuntu not recognizing a wireless card on an old laptop. Sounds strange to me. I'm stabbing in the dark here, but maybe it's a result of router security settings?

I want a kitty.

Looked at the ingredients on the Salter's Mint tub. Peppermint oil is the only flavor inside.
