Annnd, it's that day of the week again-time 4 your Friday Files:

-What a paradox it can be for some of us TSD members(I won't name names, but there has to be more than me on this one)-we build up a huge amount of soaps/aftershaves/brushes, etc...that for some make it look like a clone of Pasteur's Pharmacy(The Gold Mine of Shaving Products), and then we get into those "No Buy" phases.

-As I just wrote in describing my shave this morning(Friday, January 24, 20 and 20), the Stoylin BoS set I have should allow for the aftershave to expire long before the soap, thus the time may arrive for me to break out the Unscented A.S., to give it some work. This would also call for me to do a 3rd pass on the BoS soap, to make sure the soap scent competes comfortably). Course for now I still have 3 or 4 more whacks with the BoS.(aftershave)

-It might be years or decades before I have the technology and know-how to do shave videos. I'm gonna need a bigger bathroom, for beginners. But sometimes I imagine what I would say in one. More often that not, I let out a chuckle or 5, as if to say "are you kidding me??" meaning a great shave is in the works.

Switched up to the Goodwill this morning. Loaded up a fresh PermaSharp after the pic, whipped up an outstanding Jeeves lather and had 3 nice passes. Not perfectly smooth, but pretty darn close.
Looking forward to a day in and around the office, I actually haven’t been there since Monday and have lots of work to get to.

Well, I'll see about when I become a "big fan" of it, but I do want to work at liking it. I see some depressing reviews of various products where the reviewer says "I really wanted to like this, I just couldn't." That isn't my style. I'll say this-it's different to my nose than others.

The H&S had its three shave run. I wasn't sure which razor to use next but I was inspired by Andrew @Linuxguile and his new acquisition. The Timeless Bronze SB, another super smooth razor. I really don't remember the last time I used it with the safety bar baseplate.

Thanks Clint. I tried the "hard boiled" egg last week. This is no exaggeration: Besides the fact that it had ZERO taste, it's the very first time I have ever had to use jaw muscles to break through the rubbery consistency. Ugh. Spit it out and moved on.
