    thanks again!
    thank you!
    thank you!
    you're right, it was brutal!!!!
well, the brutal part was my stress level - I was never good at test taking anyway, fast forward 10 years past my last one - whew!!!!

    facebook?
    was it down?
  2. night folks---leaving my browser up all night, but I'll be sleeping, so don't get too loud in here. ;)
  3. wow, must be staying somewhere nice....:D
  4. Grats on the tests Jim!............and you were worried........pffftttttt!!!!! :D
  5. Good Morning everyone!

Micah, good thing we haven't worked out the two way monitor glitches yet..:D
  6. Hi all. For the first time all week, I'm staying indoors for the morning. It's just too darned hot. I mean, I want to be outside, but it's not worth it. 100 degree weather with high humidity is ridiculous.

On another note, my wife's grandmother was just rushed to the hospital, so pray for us.
  7. Morning all. Waiting for the repairman to come work on our A/C this morning...I hope.
  8. So we've got a nice sunny day today. Two days in a row. Awesome.

    Nice. Enjoy the weather.

You cut me off from a nice joke. :D

    :ashamed001

Good to see you too, Bill. I don't think I've seen you in a while. Things going okay?

See now I need to try the Wheat Cream. I will pick up a sample in my next order.

    Oh. That's what it is.

I love Sesame Street. And Bear in the Big Blue House. I don't have kids.
  9. Who's afraid of a little heat stroke?

    You bet.
  10. Yet again, making me feel better Dom. I have a daughter but I think I enjoy the shows more then her.
  11. ditto
  12. Dom, I'm not surprised.

It's not the little heat stroke I'm worried about. It's the lot of heat stroke that concerns me. ;)

    And thanks, guys.
  13. Will do.. hope all goes well.

In regards to kids TV shows:
There are a lot of shows my daughter watched that I still get the theme music stuck in my head. She wants nothing to do with those shows now.

I liked Steve better than Joe on Blue's Clues.
I loved the Bing and Bong shorts that used to be on the one channel (and yes I think of this every time that Bong posts... actually I think it was called Tiny Planets)
    Bear was livable
We did not watch Barney or Telletubbies
She liked Dora and PB and J otter and Rollie Pollie Ollie...

  15. Yeah, I liked Steve better, too....but it's probably a simple matter of primacy - the first version of something is the one you tend to like the best.
    Same with songs and movies.
If you liked the original before a remake came out, you ususally won't like the remake. If you liked the remake before seeing/hearing (or even realizing there was an original version), you tend to like the remake better.

on that night, I also liked to watch Kipper with the kids, though I can only take a little at a time, but it could lull me a little drowsy, too, real calm and tranquil
  16. Isn't that the point? ;)

Oh, and what is the deal? Is it "Passing of Celebrities Week"? Reminds me of a year or two ago when Don Knotts and a couple of others passed at near the same time... :(
  17. the old adage is it happens in 3's, and has certainly seemed that way ever since I heard it

however, we can't forget Carradine a couple weeks ago...that would make 4
  18. *Sigh* The mailman came. No straight razor for me today, so I'll have to wait til Monday. I blame you all, you bunch of enablers. :happy102:happy102:happy102
  19. Thats what friends are for!
  20. See, I told you we need a support group for this thing. The Spent Dollars gets my vote. That way we can count on each other and help give us the reasons that we need to justify buying something.
