:rofl of course, it was the "forgetting to pack the blades" on a trip last year that opened the door for a current DE user that went with me to get blades....
Zactly, and I was surprised not more people were telling you you needed to go to the antique shops to find a suitable razor for the rest of the trip.
Today Working 12 hrs on a beautiful Saturday, while friends are cooking out, didn't have time to shave, so I'm dealing with stubble. I miss my DE, so want to smell Pinaud Clubman.....Ahh so goes the struggle.
we've got a couple dvds of "old school" sesame street. they're quite enjoyable. I've never seen bear in the blue house, but I'm guessing it's good since you enjoy it. Steve is definitely much better. My son loves Thomas the Tank Engine. I've actually become something of a connoissuer of the various narrators. Ringo Starr was one of the best. Alec Baldwin is the worst by far. We don't allow Barney into the house. And I've learned to enjoy Bob the Builder. The mere mention of his name gets that theme song going in my head, which in turn gets me thinking about Obama's presidential campaign. I didn't vote for the guy, but that "yes we can" logo was pure marketing genius. And we'll really need that support in the coming years as this economy fails to improve...
Well I've been doing my part lately. I'm gunna have to build a new cabinet from my shave stuff now though. :ashamed001
thank you Bill. I come back after some time off of work and it took a long time. Well, its also Saturday.
Welcome to TSD and the HYD thread! Great to have you here. Be sure to sign up for the June Newbie Give-Away for a chance to win some great shave gear! Good job! Way to go Bram! Remember, you need your shave gear! I know, but the gentle nudge helps to justify purchases sometimes.
Been kinda slow in here lately anyway. Me thinks the nice weather has much to do with it. Nice to see your smiling face again tho..
Not me! I'm gonna sit over here in this dark corner and watch. * *we really need the lecherous eyebrow smiley. Well, through the power of youtube, and in just a few short hours, I think I've successfully taught myself how to knit. Now, it's on to learning how to Purl! I blame the knifty knitter... I've had so much fun making hats on that thing that I wanted to learn how to "really" knit. I want to work my way up to making socks. Sheeze, I'm such a dweeb. Oh, and check out my stylin' new sparrow tattoo shoes: I drew them myself (with sharpies), this morning! The sparrow was a tattoo that sailors used to get to signify a safe return after long journeys at sea. I'm really proud of them. Wow, I guess I should go on vacay more often... so far, I've learned how to knit and I've made a pair of shoes! What's next? Now, what did I do with those plans for that doomsday device?
