  1. But she knows how to use that blade Bill. Oh, she knows.

    Nice shoes there Micah.
  2. Congrats, Jim.

Sorry to hear that, Doug. Your family is in my thoughts.

Hope that A/C got fixed, Bram.

    :D

I've always liked kids shows for some strange reason. An escape from adult reality, maybe?

    :p

It was a sad day when Don Knotts died. He was hilarious.

I will sum up our motto.

You always need to buy everything always.

Welcome to HYD and to TSD! Hope you enjoy yourself here.

Bear and the Big Blue house was similar to Sesame Street in my opinion. You had the same puppet type characters moving around being ridiculous. While we're on the topic of puppets, I must admit that I really enjoy the Muppets.

Steve was definitely better. Never seen Thomas the Tank Engine or Bob the Builder. I can't stand Barney.

    Hi, Ray!

    Can I join?!

    I think it's a sexy blade.

    Nice shoes.

    I stole the plans.
  3. hey dr. nick!
  4. Really? :think002 Hmm... Maybe I will stick around to watch!

Hi Dom! I get to multi-quote you for once!

I think We could all use that now and again. Maybe thats why I like the old TV shows and movies, takes you back to a simpler time for a while.

Yes it was, he was one of my favs. He made The Andy Griffith show IMHO. His movies were great too.

Agreed! But sometimes my wife don't see it that way.

Yeah, Bear was a Hansen production, so a lot of similarities. But Bear was so gosh durn cool!
  5. Very nice job with the multi-quote, Bill!

    I always mess that up
  6. wow, sharpies? seriously?
    awesome
  7. Thanks and hello Pam!

    Hi Mike!

I just made my daughter mad! We have a local Friendship Festival going on here,(Carnival rides, bands, beer tent.) and she wants to go. She had plans to meet a friend and her parents there at 2 o'clock, but her room wasn't picked up, which by the way I told her to do on Monday, so she stays home. Now, another friend calls and wants to meet her and her mom there at 6pm, no problem now that her room is clean. But wait! We just found out that the other girls mom was just going to drop her off there and thought it would be alright for two 12 year old girls to walk around this place by themselves. Guess who ain't going! Now I've ruined her life and the wife and I are mean parents.
  8. Hey there sick Mike.
  9. Ray!
  10. Hey- at least you've got important parenting lesson #1 down: you're the parent and not a best friend. Too many folks seem to have either forgotten lesson #1 or never learned it in the first place.

The sickness has passed, thank goodness. I have a little case of the sniffles, but am up and running. After my two year old son.
  11. Doug!
  12. Scott!

  14. Wish me luck! I'm about to go shave with a bic "sensitive" shaver.

  15. Well they came today and the system was working correctly. They think that it "might" be that it needs more return air and that I need to add another vent in the wall for more air to pass into the system. We had the vent cover off today to test it to see if it worked. But I dunno, it looked like it did a little. I'll have to give it a couple more days to see.

  17. Well...

    I survived.

I had forgotten just how much pressure you have to use with modern razors. It took for-d-ever to get my head even passable.

All in all, it wasn't my best shave by any means, but it wasn't by far my worst either.

It'll take a little getting used to the nearly weightless razor... but I think it'll do.
  18. I'm glad you survived. I thought I was going to have to do late-night grave digging solo from now on.

This has been another prime example of how inside jokes should remain on the inside. :signs068
