Oh, really? Out loud? I thought that was a sonic boom.... Doug, did your electricity go out this afternoon, too?
aaaaand, many of you will be pleased to know, I am about to begin the journey that is watching Office Space...yes, it will be my first viewing, the anticipation has been built up so high by many of you, I hope it lives up to expectation
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhh...I'm going to need you to come in on Saturday. Don't forget to file the TPS reports. And I'm telling you, you will soooooo relate to the fax-machine scene.
Probably. On my way now, though. That ain't true! :rolleyes005 I was done working, but then noticed how close I was to being caught up. So, grabbed some more stuff to make. Just a few orders left now. :happy036 not that it will last long, I'm sure. <knocks on wood> Night, Bill! Way to be a good parent, btw! :happy088
And a fine Sunday morning to you all. I took a short nap this morning so it kind of feels like morning to me too Yesterday I decided to get reacquainted with an old friend. You may know it as Noxzema skin cream. I haven't so much as laid a hand on any since I was a kid (mom used to keep the stuff in stock). I've had some break outs on my face lately and just haven't been too happy with the condition of my skin... time to try something new... or perhaps old. After only two sessions using nice warm water and a wash rag to rub it in, I'm already loving it again. I wasn't one of those children averse to bathing and general hygiene, but the "extra stuff" as I looked at it then wasn't as enjoyable as it can be now. Of course, this really has me yearning for that bottle of SubZero splash. (hint hint, JoAnna)
Good morning all. I did set off a couple of car alarms, but I'm not sure it was loud enough to reach your house. Yes, the 'lectric went out. Seems a tree got pissed and attacked a transformer (probably a decepticon taking a nap), causing an outage at the WORST POSSIBLE TIME since it's 106 out and I have a freezer full of Blue Bell. Fortunately, the outage was relatively short.
morning folks. does anyone besides me enjoy making franken-razors? My current razor is a NEW head and a fat tech handle. Shaves like a dream when I use a 7o.c. black blade. I've also enjoyed using the fat tech handle with the head from a Lord three piece. Those are better razors than people realize.
sounds like that bic did all right for you, though. at least you found something better than a good news.
yeah, it was way too hot to be having no A/C.... when I called SWEPCO after 1+ hour of no power, the message said 4:00 PM was the estimated time of getting the power back on, so we decided to go somewhere, don't know where, just out - 10 minutes later, let there be light (and A/C!!!!)
okay, so someone didn't set the clocks correctly after yesterdays power outage, so we've apparently missed the start of church, instead of still having 40 minutes as I've been led to believe this morning...:shocked003
I keep thinking about trying mine. It's a NEW head with a Durham Duplex handle. Those DD handles have nice weight to them, but it took me forever to get the verdigris out of the knurling.
oh, I forgot to mention, I may have discovered an effective hair removal option: concrete! went swimming Friday (after I passed the A+ tests! I'm still super happy, and surprised ), played in the pool with my two kids, and 3 nephews/nieces. While walking along the bottom on my knees for most of the time, I discovered a few hours later the BBS "shave" my knees got from the experience - and not a bit of irritation! maybe someone should make a handle with a small strip of concrete on the end? I can see it now, the marketing campaign of 3 concrete blades, and a chlorine strip, for that just-out-of-the-pool feeling! okay, that probably was funnier in my head, but nevertheless
