    This was kept above my father's desk, in a frame, in big bold black letters.
    He supervised the line of finishers at a shoe factory for over 30 years.

    One of my favorite movies is the Cohn Brother's Oh Brother Where Art Thou.

    Here is one of my favorite exchanges.
    "Delmar O'Donnell : You work for the railroad, Grampa?

    Used only in a pejorative way such as when explaining why someone is being unnecessarily difficult.

    Good movie, good music!

    While we're on the subject of movie quotes, I've always liked, and sometimes have used, the quote by Strother Martin (The prison "Captain"), in the movie "Cool Hand Luke." When you're reading it, inject a bit of accent and drawl into it.

    "What we've got here is failure to communicate."
