I decided to make a fan page of the Rex Supply Co razors and accessories. I currently own a Rex Ambassador and just very recently ordered the Rex Envoy. I personally love the Ambassador and can’t wait to try the Envoy out. If you own a Rex Ambassador or Envoy or both let us know how you like them and would you say that you are a Rex Aficionado? If so tell us why.
As you probably know, Angelo, my experience with the Ambassador has not been positive. My razor is currently back in Phoenix being repaired. I'm hoping I can grow to like it when I get it back, but you know the adage, 'once bitten'. In my case I was gouged and shredded. I'm just now recovering from a disastrous head shave. I'm going to really try to be open to trying it again, but if it doesn't work, I'll sell it and just keep using my Gibbs Adjustables which I've never had a problem with. They were the model for the Rex.
I have the Envoy and I'm a big fan of it. I don't know if that's enough to make me an aficionado but, if so, I'm in! The Envoy provides a very close shave and, if I'm not careful, can result in irritation pretty easily. With good technique, it provides a comfortable BBS shave.

Today I shaved with the following. Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket Razor: Rex Envoy Blade: Personna Red Soap: PantaRei Ibla Aftershave: Clubman Musk Sorry that I didn’t take a photo, but today’s shave was excellent. No nicks or cuts, BBS in 3 passes leaving my face smooth as glass. The Clubman Musk was the perfect end to a perfect shave.
