A wonderful shave to start the day. The Botiho felt fantastic face lathering the MdC. I love the lavender, herbal and medicinal scent of the MdC filling the room. Three easy passes with touch ups along my jawline and buffing my neck ended in another BBS shave. A splash of Balsamica and I am off to visit my mother. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.

Yeah, need to know your audience. When the subject comes up I'll tell them how I used to hate shaving but I found a way to make it an enjoyable part of my day. Those that truly want to make a change will start asking questions.

I’m sorry, but I must bow to the master! Unfortunately, Jim, there are many other razors. The ones listed are my preferred rotation. I have to thank you. When I went to the Charcoal Goods site, and discovered that the copper razor was available, I also discovered that I really didn’t need to buy it. A month ago, I would have just ordered it. I don’t know what’s happened, but I like it. I’m more than content with the wonderful set I currently own.

Dandy shave, Jeff! You just need one more safety razor to go toe-to-toe with my 13 traditional straights! Lol!

Excellent shave and post, Paul! I am a cold water shaver and have done the hot towel treatment on occasion. I get excellent results either way. The hot towel justs adds to the enjoyment of the shave and not necessarily the smoothness of it.

Oh, interesting. Thanks Joe. I think I actually got the hot towel treatment once....many years ago.

Great shave, Clint! Enjoy your day with you mom! You’re blessed to still have living parents. I was as well, but unfortunately, lost my dad at 99 in 2013, and my mother at 90 in 2015.

Yeah, I only need one razor, one brush and one soap. That logic went out the window when I bought my second razor. I'm enjoying every bit of this hobby.

At one time, I had a full beard, a goat, a moustache or just long sideburns. You still have to trim the facial hair to be neat and to me that's more work than shaving. I saw the light and never regretted the decision to be clean shaven.
