    Razor: Muhle R41
    Blade: Voskhod (1)
    Brush: Knurled Aluminum with Maggard 24mm Silvertip knot
    PS: Stirling Menthollated Pre-Shave
    SS & AS: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man

    No surprise I was excited to use my new brush. I even picked the R41 because I thought it would look good in the photo with the brush. I know I'm not the first to do that.

    I did take the time for a hot lather shave. Stirling does pretty well hot, but I think Razorock Blue Label has done the best so far. The scuttle kept the lather hot enough that each time I applied it to my face I jumped a little. It wasn't uncomfortably hot but still a surprise. The lather was nearly perfect.

    I think this is my first blood free shave with my MR41. Love that razor but it's not for the faint of heart. I did slow way down and paid very close attention. Wonderfully close 3 pass BBS shave.

    I know this brush is simple with a lot of straight lines and sharp corners but it feels great in my hand. I like heavy handles but only when they are long enough to rest on the edge of the bowl without falling in. The Maggard knot seems to be good quality too. We'll see how it holds up.

    Glastonbury reminded me of walking into an apartment that I went to help my father clean out after the hippie girl tenent moved out.

    She was a huge fan of cannabis and incense.

    I just could not find favor in it.
