Which netbook? I keep looking at them, but I'm gunshy. Strange, I can justify buying razors on a whim, but I'll talk myself out of a lot of other things.

Acer Aspire1
there's a program with schools around here, kinda through our local region service center, that you can try one free for 30 days, and at the end of those 30 days, and after 2 phone "interviews", you can either A) send it back, or B) buy it at a BIG discounted price

so, I decided I'd try one out

as for the talking self out of things....big "me too" here
most of the time I'm happy and content in that decision, but there have been a few times I've kicked myself for not deciding the other way

this one is a 10" model, so typing isn't as painful as I'd feared, and the touchpad has some cool features too

so far, big thumbs up!
