  1. As many of you know my oldest daughter, Asha, is finishing up her Masters in Behavioral Analytics at Arizona State. She wants to continue on an obtain a PhD. She applied to 3 universities with the University of South Florida being her top choice. USF invited her down for interviews on 1/18/20. Asha just texted that she has received an offer from USF. I’m so happy for her that I had to share. It will be so nice to have her in the same time zone for the next 3 years.

  2. People have 'feelings' about Glastonbury. At one point in time I thought I might be the only person who likes it. Normally I'd say stand your ground, but the Missus always comes first... always. ;)
  3. Fantastic shave, Evan. Love. That. Brush.

Congratulations on a blood-free shave with the Muhle R41! :D

  4. Awesome setup Tim!

I get that sometimes too depending on razor / blade combos. Other times when I'm in a hurry I will settle for a nice 1 passer.
  5. Look at all that bling!!
Thats a cool razor Keith! Too bad the soap didn't perform better for you, as I recall that was a premium offering with a premium price tag.
    Lovely shave Terry!
    Beautiful shot Jim!
Fantastic shave Jeff! That is such a cool razor!
    Wonderful shot and shave, Clint!
Happy Birthday and safe travels Jim! I hope the rest of the day goes as smoothly as your shave this morning!
    Fantastic shave and photo, Joseph!
Great photo Jason! Weird that youre having issues with lathering the B&M reserve.
    Stunning photo Gary!
    Very nice Tim!!
  6. Excellent new Clint!! Congrats!
  7. It's on then! I'm still keeping an eye out for that manager.

Almost got saddled with "mythical-looking-nectar-bird" last week, so now I know better. Frankly, at 2 months into TSD, I don't think I've paid my dues just yet--there are plenty of folks here who've been around far longer, and have said waaaaay more ridiculous things ;)
  8. Beautiful Pic and Sunday shave, Jim! :D

  9. I'm certainly a novice, but it's a very fun hobby. I have machined 316 stainless and I can understand why your brother-in-law preferred to use free machining stainless. Most stainless steels are very hard to machine.
  10. Thank you Andrew.

  11. Wonderful news, Clint! I know you're proud. Congrats to Asha!
  12. A great Sunday shave, Joe. Impressed that you feel comfortable enough to go on auto with the Parker after just 2 shaves :D

  13. Thank you Andrew. I’m so happy for her. She has worked so hard.

  14. Yeah , sometimes it doesn't take long to get tagged . I was fortunate enough to get 2 years in . I think they were after me for awhile but us Canadians are evasive. Hopefully you get a cool one that fits the bill and translates easily enough for the ring announcer ;)
  15. Thank you Perry. We’ve tried to teach her to work hard and things will work out. I’m happy that she’s being rewarded for all her hard work.

  16. Thanks Patrick...it was. Now we'll see if the Jeeves looks "dented" some, the next time it comes around. I think that puck will last me the rest of my life.

  17. You and your wife must be very proud Clint. Doing an excellent job I'd say!
  18. This(Doc Greeley's words) explains why my home town of Acton is west of Boston (albeit by only 22.5 miles, but hey, what the hey).
  19. Once the ring of death shows up you're usually good for another year. Some soaps are hard to kill.
  20. When does this ring of death show-about halfway down?
