Thanks, Gary. It was a fine Sunday, indeed :D
Thanks, Jim! Even with the weeper, it was a pretty good shave. :D
Thank you very much, Clint :)
    Thanks, El Scratcho! ;)
Much appreciated, Joe. Again, glad that Parker's working out for you :)
Then it must be incredible, indeed, because the scent of the soap is awesome.
    Thanks, Jim! :D
Thanks, Perry! At 20 bucks for 100ml, Barrister's flies a bit outside my price/value range, but you've got me convinced now about the RR. Will definitely pull the trigger on that once I finish the AV. ;)

    Thanks Gary!

Thank you Patrick. I tell the girls we were fortunate to have excellent kids from the start and we didn’t screw things up too badly along the way.

More like 3/4 . Depends on size of container.

Oh ok. I'm told the container is 8 inches, but that it holds 7 inches of soap(well, I knew the latter in the first place, but the container was built to have SOME air between the top and the soap).

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
Stamped OC Tech clone w/ RR SS UFO handle
    Permasharp Stainless (2)
    2019 30DC Meetup brush (28mm, Destroyer Class)
Stirling 2019 Blood on Steel soap and AS

Absolutely amazing shave this morning with my newly acquired OC Tech clone. The handle that came with this razor was about an inch long and maybe ¼ inch in diameter. So I threaded on one of my other new additions, the RazoRock SS UFO handle(great deep, grippy, knurling BTW). Patterned after the vintage Gillette ball end design I though it looked pretty good when paired with this head. Whipped up a nice creamy, slick Stirling lather and took my first couple of strokes. Wow! This definitely doesn't shave like a Tech. Good amount of blade feel and after the first pass I was in DFS territory. Second pass IBBS. After the third pass I was full on BBS! A bit of sting from the AS, totally worth it! As a bit of as bonus, on the way to work this morning, my wife told my that I smelled and great! It doesn't get much better then this! Have a great day my friends!

7" of soap? I'd say you're good for 10 years . Hahaha . If the soap is of the softer variety, you will hit the ring fairly fast . When this happens I push it from the sides back down to the middle so the brush picks it up better .

Great looking list of upcoming scents, Bill. And way to push the envelope with the blade--you never know what you're capable of till you try ;)

Love the look of that Dovo!

Shame about Glastonbury; I like it quite a lot--it appears that I am one of the few, proud, dirty hippie girls :happy102:

They are right about the same price. I see some chatter that folks are saying the Thater synth is the same as the Shavemac synth. I emailed Shavemac to see if he'd sell me just the knot, but got no response.
I see also that Vie-Long is advertising hand-tied Synth knots now as well. The complete brushes are 30 Br. Pounds on Connaughts.
