I got my 6s almost two years ago, still chasing something smoother and more efficient than plate 5. Haven’t found it yet! Great razor.

Really close and comfortable shave today. I shaved my neck on setting 4 this time to compare with results from setting 3, and it is closer but not as comfortable, still no weepers.

It's a good razor. I like it as well.

I'm using it more than anything else since I got it.

Has anyone done a comparison of the base plates to other common razors?

is there a plate comparable to the R41, Fatboy on 6 or 7, Gillette tech, an R89 , etc?

I ask because I’m considering buying one. Thank you in advance!

The R4 plate is about that of the R89. I have yet to find something close to the R41. Gillettes, no clue.

R89/DE 89 may match r3/4, but the Rockwell s efficiency is much better. Still one of my best razors.
I didnt like the DE89 and Sold it.
