    January 30 SOTD:

    Razor: Karve Christopher Bradley
    Blade: Polsilver
    Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts Aurora
    Lather: PAA Lavender Planet
    Aftershave: PAA Lavender Planet

    Lavender Planet came up in the rotation this morning. Lavender, and some more lavender. There is some depth to this scent, but it is all lavender. I would agree with Blair that there is no old lady smell to this one. If you like lavender, then this is one for you. If you are on the fence about lavender (or don't like it, obviously) I would probably steer clear. Two passes and a DFS for the actual shave. I hope everyone has a great day!

    Good morning

    Awesome shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

    PAA Sandalwood isn't a current offering. Not my favorite. Too much Sandalwood for my taste. There is more going on in the background but unfortunately it's too far back. Fine Santal Absolut to the rescue.

    Nice shave and pic, Jim! The only lavender soap that I have is Music City Suds version. I like it. I took a chance and bought 2 tubd of it for such a great price. Unfortunately, the company discontinued their shaving soaps.
